Believing God

I have started a new study with my women's small group called Believing God by Beth Moore. I love Beth Moore and her studies are so incredibly powerful and insightful. God has already shown me so much just in the first night and the next nine weeks should produce so much more fruit of the spirit.

"You are my witnesses," declares the LORD, "and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me. Isaiah 43:10

1. God is who He says He is.

See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. Hebrews 3:12

2. God can do what He says He can do.

Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. John 15:4

3. I am who God says I am.

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5

4. I can do all things through Christ.

This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. John 15:8

5. Gods word is alive and active in me.

This is the five statement pledge of faith. Let it settle in your heart and blossom into God's truth.
