O.k, where did the week go? I have been really busy doing, I don't know what! Do you every have weeks like that?
Well, I have decided to home school the girls due to the fact that we will be moving soon and I didn't want to switch the girls all around. So we got all our work books, schedules set (thanx P.J) and school supplies. I got some great christian based curriculum for the girls. It is called Lifepac by alpha and omega publishers. Lifepac bible workbook unit 1 studies "How others Lived for God" , Lifepac Math, History& Geography sounds just very exciting to start! Quotes from the workbook are "this year you will learn the story, the history, of our nation, the U.S.A. You will learn how it was created, how it survived, what people led it and what it has accomplished in the world. It is an amazing story of a nation led by the hand of GOD"!!! Wow!!! Who knew a workbook on the actually study of the hand of God in our country!!! What happened to teaching our children that?
I would say this has been a amazing answer to prayer for me! I have felt a pull from God to teach my children a bible based curriculum. I just never in a million years thought it would actually be me teaching it!! People ask me all the time if I home school and I would always look at them very strangely and say "ME"!! UH! No way!! So look at me now home schooling! Please keep me in your prayers B/c I feel I will be needing it.
The picture up top is Mike and I at the Journey and Heart concert. We had so much fun! Mike and I used to listen to Journey all the time, when we were younger, on road trips. Heart brings me back to the days when I was younger singing in the shower. Theyed played "These Dreams" "Baracuda" and other oldies and goodies. I had a blast!! Thank you Kari and Matt for inviting us.
